Our Economics A-level enables students to acquire an excellent knowledge of trends and developments in the economy that have taken place over the past fifteen years and an awareness of how these have contributed to more recent economic developments. Students have the opportunity to explore the disagreements that exist between economists and current economic controversies. Economics helps students to develop the knowledge and skills needed to understand and analyse data, think critically about issues and make informed decisions, all of which are key life skills for their future. YEAR 1 All of our students at Year 12 students will learn about both microeconomic and macroeconomic models in order to apply them to current problems and issues within the economy today.
