Sociology is the study of societies and the way that they shape people's behavior, beliefs, and identity. It enables us to make sense of the rapidly changing world and it enables us to understand ourselves. The way that we think, behave, and feel, indeed our very sense of identity are products of our socialization. This provides us with language, gives us our values and beliefs, establishes our identity and so turns us into members of society.
The general requirement for a place in Sixth Form is five grade 4's at GCSE
All topics are assessed in 3 written papers at the end of Year 13.
