• Am I interested in Anatomy and Physiology, fitness testing, training and programming for health? • Am I interested in Sports Psychology and the different careers in the sports industry? • Am I possibly considering a career in the sports industry such as sports psychologist, teacher, physiotherapist, sports coach? • Am I considering a career in the medical profession which has transferable skills and knowledge from BTEC Sport? • Do I prefer an even balance of coursework and examination assessment? The BTEC Sport Level 3 course helps students to expand on the knowledge gained throughout the Level 2 course or GCSE PE in Key Stage 4. It is designed to enable students to gain both academic and practical experience in a Units relating to sport science and sociocultural aspects of sport. If you concerned about the UCAS points not being the same as A Level, please see the table to the right. All of our students have gone onto study at University or secure apprenticeships that offered the option of studying on the job. In 2019-2020 we had a 100% pass rate with two out of seven students securing the Distinction*.
