The Level 2 Bricklaying Technical Certificate aims to prepare you for employment and further training in the bricklaying industry. You will carry out your practical training in our dedicated training environment, learning skills such as how to build a range of masonry structures and gain knowledge on how the construction industry operates, how to interpret working drawings and how buildings are constructed. The practical training is designed to mirror the skills that the industry requires, allowing you to develop an industry ready skill set. You will visit real working sites where possible, and may even have opportunities to practice your new skills on real buildings.
The entry qualifications for the Level 2 Bricklaying Technical Certificate are GCSE English and Maths at grades 2 or above or equivalent or a relevant Level 1 vocational qualification.
Your final assessment will consist of a theory exam and a synoptic practical assessment.
