Students of A-Level English Literature, who have developed keen skills in analysis and are able to weigh and consider the critical views of others, may follow careers in Law, Journalism and Teaching and Public Relations. The study of English Literature is the study of life; literary texts hold a mirror to society and the relationships which exist; they provide a commentary on life and how people behave. Through exploring and analysing literature from across the ages we are able to gain an insight into different cultures and societies.
