Course summary

Explores questions raised by religion and belief, such as the existence of God, religious experience, pain and suffering to help students develop an understanding of spiritual, moral, ethical, social and cultural issues. This course links with many other subject disciplines. 'Religion and Ethics' develops an understanding of the bases or morality and ethics and considers a variety of responses to ethical issues. 'Developments in Religious Thought' deepens understanding of the ways in which culture shapes and is shaped by religious belief.
