Course summary

The BTEC Extended Certificate in Business develops your understanding of the requirements of the business sector. You will have the opportunity to focus on specific topics such as human resources, marketing, business planning and accounting. You will apply practical skills and knowledge in preparation for further study in Higher Education or the workplace, studying a range of mandatory and optional unit content with external and internal assessments. This two year course is equivalent to one A level with 58% external assessment 42% internal assessment.
