Course summary

This BTEC covers a selected range of science topics from physics, chemistry, and biology. The BTEC qualification is designed for students who want to continue their education through applied learning and who aim to progress to higher education or to employment, possibly in the applied science sector. This is a vocational course, and the focus is split equally between learning content and carrying out practical tasks. There are opportunities for students to develop their reflective skills, teamwork, time management, and scientific techniques.
