This option is for anyone with a passion and drive for Business. If you enjoy finding out how the Business world works and want a qualification that will give you skills for your working life then this could be a good option for you. If you choose to study Business as a double option you will have lessons across two option blocks and over the two years gain the equivalent of two Level 3 qualifications. As part of the qualification you will have to complete at least 40 hours of work placement, which can be done across your course or in one block. The school and department will support you with this to ensure that you can gain enough evidence to complete your coursework.
5 GCSE grades at 9 to 4 including English and Maths. Successful completion of a Level 2 Business course would be beneficial but not essential. If Business has been studied before then a 4 is desired.
