Course summary

Biology is the study of life and allows us to explore the intricate theories and principles involved in living systems right through from a molecular to a global level. A Level Biology has a dynamic and diverse syllabus and provides a solid foundation in analytical thinking, problem solving, mathematical kills and communication – all of which are fundamental life skills. You will also develop practical techniques through field and laboratory work which complements the theoretical aspects of the course. Biological sciences, medicine, healthcare, veterinary science, biomedical science, and genetics are just a few examples of the many exciting career pathways that Biology A Level can lead to.
