The purpose of the course is to respond to the visual world in a creative way through hands-on making, exploring exciting textile design techniques. The main purpose of the Fine Art Constructed Textiles course is to develop your ability to appreciate the visual world and to enable you to respond in a personal and creative way through hands-on making. The textiles staff devise projects that encourage you to explore your creative instincts through a wide range of materials and techniques.
A minimum of five GCSE subjects at Grade 4 or above. A grade 4 or above in an Arts GCSE preferable but not essential.
