This course is designed to develop your understanding of the principles, practices, and legislation surrounding inspecting, testing, and commissioning electrotechnical systems. You'll also learn how to plan, prepare, and design these systems. The course is intended as a Technical Level qualification. It has been specifically designed for 16-19-year-old learners in full-time education who have completed the Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation and who are interested in pursuing a career as an electrician. Modules on this course include: - Electrical installation design - Environmental technology systems - Electrical science and principles - Electrical installation craft - Diagnosing and correcting electrical faults
Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (including English, maths and science) and a relevant Level 2 qualification.
