Your course will explore a variety of topics from within the sporting industry. This will include anatomy and physiology, coaching, sports psychology, and many more! You will experience both practical and theoretical methods of teaching and learning. Assessment methods will be mainly coursework based but there will also be some exams. The coursework-based assessment will be varied to suit your needs and maximize your potential in a fun and exciting environment. You will be studying full-time on a course that is equivalent to three A Levels. Additionally, as part of your program, you will have allocated time for Academy training and fixtures.
You will need to have at least one of the following: - Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including GCSE English Language and Mathematics and Science is preferred - BTEC Diploma in a related subject graded a minimum of a Merit and GCSE Mathematics and English Language at grade 4 or above
You will be assessed by a variety of assessment methods, all of which are aimed at a more vocational method of study. You may be asked to give a presentation, conduct research, lead a practical session, or organize a group activity.
