Course summary
On this course you will advance your knowledge of all aspects of the electrical installation industry. Develop your understanding of the principles of electrical science and learn about regulatory requirements related to renewable energy. You will develop skills in fault diagnosis of complex systems and know how to carry out Inspection and testing procedures safely. The course also includes an understanding of electrical systems design. You will also study 17th Edition Wiring Regulations to aid your progression within the industry, assessed by online exam. The EAL L3 Diploma 600/9331/6 course consists of 7 units which are:- ELTK3/002 Understanding environmental legislation, working practices and the principles of environmental technology systems. ELEC3/04A Electrical Installation Planning, Preparing and Designing. ELECT3/05 Electrical Installation Craft Skills. ELTK3/006 Understanding the principles, practices and legislation for the inspection, testing, commissioning and certification of Electrotechnical systems and equipment in buildings, structures and the environment. ELTK3/07 Diagnosing and correcting electrical faults in electro-technical systems and equipment in buildings, structures and environment. ELTK3/08 Electrical science and principles 17ED3/01 Requirements of BS 7671 and its application to electrical installations.
