You will learn about decision-making to improve marketing, operational, financial, and human resources performance. You will analyze the strategic position of a business, choose a strategic direction, and discuss how to pursue and manage strategic change. Real-life case studies, video clips, and group work are used to add variety to classwork and support you in the application of your knowledge and skills. During your two years of study, you will undertake a work placement. You will also hear from a variety of industry speakers, and visit careers fairs, workshops, trips, and visits. An interest in current affairs is an advantage of this course to reflect the ever-changing world of business.
To study a standard A Level programme (three A Levels) you must have a minimum of five GCSEs grade 4 and above including English and Maths. Requires GCSEs in the English language at grade 4 and maths at grade 5, plus the standard entry requirements of an A Level or mixed program.
You will sit three papers for this subject. Question papers use a variety of assessment styles, including multiple-choice, short answer, data response, essay, and case studies. You will be required to demonstrate good numeracy skills across all papers.
