This vocational qualification is a technical qualification, which introduces learners to Film and Video Production and as a result, learners will leave this course well-prepared to enter the Creative Media Industry as a worker, apprentice, or student. You will gain experience in using industry-standard equipment and software to create moving images. In addition, you will learn about the industry and its practices. During your two years of study, you will undertake a work placement. You will also hear from a variety of industry speakers, visit career fairs, and attend workshops, trips, and visits.
Requires four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English, and maths, and may include a BTEC. Alternatively, Level 2 BTEC in Creative Media at merit and GCSE English at grade 4.
