The qualification develops a deep common core of knowledge, understanding, and skills through mandatory content. The course is designed for students with an interest in a career in the health service or social care sector and is ideal to study alongside A Levels if you are looking to move into the healthcare sector. At least 5 GCSEs graded 9-4 including English or Maths at grade 4 or above.
There are 2 external units assessed through exams. The remaining 2 are assessed internally through assignments/projects and case studies.
