Course summary

The aim is to develop your interest and enthusiasm for Biology, including developing an interest in further study and careers associated with Biology. It will encourage you to appreciate how society makes decisions about scientific issues and how the sciences contribute to the success of the economy and society. It will develop a deeper appreciation of the skills, knowledge and understanding of different areas of Biology and how they relate to each other. Biology’s primary goal is to study life and living organisms. Whatever career you enter, wherever you go, whatever you do, your number one priority will be with living things. The course will be lively, including practical classes. We will work hard but hopefully have some fun along the way!
