Course summary

This course will suit you if you enjoy learning about current and future issues affecting society, the economy and the natural world, you are interested in the interaction between people and the environment and its resources, you like to keep up to date with current affairs on a local, national and global scale by watching and reading the news. Studying Geography at A Level will enable you to capitalise upon your curiosity and make sense of the complex and dynamically changing world. This course has a distinct focus on the interactions of people with their physical environment and human environment. Fieldwork is an integral part of the course and you will take part in fieldwork to embed your learning from the classroom in the real world.
