Course summary

Our A Level Biology course builds on concepts and skills developed at GCSE and delivers an exciting, relevant and challenging combination of topics and skills that emphasize the way in which scientists work and contribute to modern society. A level Biology is a key subject to a huge array of careers. It is essential for medicine, veterinary science, agriculture, fishery management, equine science and a host of other subjects. Students can choose to study A Level Biology as a complementary subject to any of the other sciences or mathematics. Alternatively it can sit as the only science alongside more artistic subjects. Although it is a significant challenge, Biology offers in depth understanding of real issues affecting humans on this planet.
