Exchange and Transport. • In Year 13 there are six additional topics examined at the end of the two year course: 5. Energy for Biological Processes, 6. Microbiology and Pathogens, 7. Modern Genetics, 8. Origins of Genetic Variation, 9. Control Systems, 10. Ecosystems.
- Minimum prior attainment which must be achieved to enroll on this course: APS of 5.5 including two grade 6s or above in Science and grade 6 in Maths at GCSE - Best 8 APS of 5.5+, including grade 5 in GCSE English & Maths. If you have studied a subject at GCSE and wish to study it at A Level, a minimum of a grade 5 pass is required.
