WHAT WILL I STUDY You will study lifespan development, working in health and social care, research, safe practice, sociology for health, and meeting individual care and support needs. The extended diploma covers more direct health topics looking at human anatomy, nutrition and dementia care. This qualification also requires you to complete 100 hours of work experience. To study BTEC courses you will need to have achieved 5 grade 4s or better at GCSE.
If you have chosen to study the BTEC extended diploma you will be assessed over 13 units going more in depth aboutparticular topics in health.
