Psychology is defined as 'the scientific study of the mind and behaviour'. Psychologists are concerned with increasing their knowledge and understanding of people and behaviour and then applying their knowledge and understanding to bring about change for the better. To study A Levels you will need to have achieved 5 grade 5s or better at GCSE (as well as achieving at least grade 4 in GCSE English and mathematics).
Level Papers 1-3 are assessed at the end of Year 13 through three 2-hour written exams; these units comprise the AQA level award.
