Health Studies

Course summary

This 2 year course focuses on education and training for the sector of health and social care. It is wide ranging, preparing students for a variety of good quality jobs and also the opportunity to apply for higher education. This course is equivalent to one A-level and has been created to give you a very broad understanding of the health and social care sector in a very practical way. Throughout the course you will undertake a number of research projects which will link into your practical placements, enabling you to apply your technical knowledge to realistic work situations.
