Students will need to achieve recommended entry requirements for the Professional Pathway, plus subject specific requirements of: Level 2 Art & Design at grade M2/grade 5 or above Students will develop their own individual approach to visual arts; refining and improving their ability to use the key skills of drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and digital media. The course includes many enriching activities such as workshops, off-site life drawing classes and visits to London galleries.
Merit or Grade 5 or above in Art and Design at Key Stage 4.
A Level assessment in made up of two components: Component 1: Personal portfolio (60% of total marks) Component 2: Externally set assignment (40% of total marks)
