This course is designed for those with a keen interest in the business world and how it operates. How the course is taught? The course is delivered through a practical program involving the study of real-life businesses and assignment-based tasks. A vocational study option allows students to apply theory to contextual businesses. Students can choose a course of study comprising of four or eight units. What areas are covered by the course? ● Exploring Business ● Developing a Marketing Campaign ● Personal and Business Finance ● Managing an Event International ● Business Principles of Management
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (including English and Maths) is desirable; good computer skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Knowledge of local and regional businesses and a Level 2 Business qualification would be desirable.
The course is assessed through a combination of coursework and external assessment.
