Art is defined as the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. It is a way of expressing yourself, your thoughts and feelings in relation to the world around you.
To study at RSFC, you must have achieved a minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent at grade 4 or above across four separate subjects, including GCSE Mathematics and/or English Language. In addition, you must achieve a grade 4 or above in GCSE art.
Assessment is through a combination of coursework assignments (60%) and a controlled examination, including sketchbook work and a final piece (40%).
