The course covers the following units: • Theories of criminality • Changing awareness of crime • Crime scene to courtroom • Crime and punishment Criminology is a Level 3 Diploma and students will take this course alongside other A-level subjects (e.g. criminology, sociology, and history). An Individual Learning Plan will be designed for your needs Assigned a Personal Tutor and a Progress Tutor who specifically look after your pastoral and course requirements Various extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities such as trips to the law courts and guest speakers.
4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including maths or English at grade 3 or above.
It is assessed by both coursework (50%) and examinations (50%).
