The OCR Diploma in IT is designed to give students the skills and knowledge they need to gain employment in the IT Sector or move on to further study of Computing at a higher level. There are two distinct pathways – software and hardware - you could follow on this diploma course, depending on interview, experience and assessment. The course will involve visits to networking and software development events.
New Students: Five GCSE’s at grade 4 or above including maths and English. We also require a good reference from your school alongside your application.* Progressing students: Level 2 Diploma at Merit plus English and maths. A satisfactory reference for attitude, behaviour, attendance and punctuality. *The College reserves the right to ask for a school reference if required.
