Course summary

Prepare for a career in the health sector or adult social care with this two-year BTEC Extended Diploma, equivalent to three A Levels. Develop your academic and practical skills as you explore key topics relating to the health and social care sector, human lifespan development, human anatomy, infection prevention and psychology. You will also apply your knowledge to a real-life setting during a 100-hour practical work experience module. Successful students can gain the maximum 168 UCAS points needed to progress on to a related degree. Students who only complete year one of the course will still achieve a BTEC Foundation Diploma, equivalent to one A Level.

4 GCSEs grade 4 or above in English and Maths and a clear DBS check is required
