The Level 3 Diploma in Theatrical and Media Make-up Technical Level Qualification has been developed to support you in gaining meaningful employment or self-employment. It is suitable for students who are over 16 years of age and have completed the level 2 beauty related qualification, or equivalent. You will be learning the specific practical skills that employers and leading industry experts identified as key to working in this ever-growing industry. The focus on the course is the development of practical skills with the underpinning theory aspects of the skills and those of the industry. You will also be developing your essential communication and customer service skills with consideration for environmental and sustainability skills. External exam = 30% Graded practical assessments = 50% Graded synoptic assessment = 20% Please note: You will only be given one opportunity to re-sit the external examinations and the final graded synoptic.
