Learning sports can open a variety of careers in this sector, increasing your chances of employment. You will learn in a state-of-the-art gym, fitness suite, and sports hall, which has all the latest equipment to help you succeed in the industry You will start with the basic knowledge of sports and fitness, progressing to further your skills in fitness and training, sports leadership, sports psychology, and performance and gym instructing. You will learn the health and safety of sports and injury management.
You are required to have 4 GCSEs at grade 9-3 (A* - D) including Maths or English and will also be required to undertake an interview and assessment. Students will be expected to be enthusiastic about embarking on a career in the sports sector and are required to complete a DBS check at the start of the academic year.
