Course summary

Year one: Level 3 BTEC Foundation Diploma in Animal Management Year two: Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Animal Management This is a one-year Foundation Diploma, which is a stand-alone qualification. The Extended Diploma is a separate course that you can do in your second year. In your first year, you will cover a range of units including Animal Biology, Animal Welfare and Ethics, Practical Animal Husbandry, Animal Behaviour, Animal Health and Disease, Work Experience in the Animal Sector, and Principles of Animal Nursing.
