Course summary

Studying Psychology at A Level allows students to explore the fascinating questions of how our behaviour and minds are shaped, exploring biological, cognitive and developmental theories that underpin this exciting subject. Within the A Level framework, students will study a range of topics including: Social Influence, Memory, Attachment, Psychopathology, Approaches in Psychology, Biopsychology, Research Methods, and Issues and Debates in Psychology. The study of Psychology is based in the scientific world and requires strong mathematical skills.

Entry requirements

A minimum of a grade 6 in GCSE Mathematics and a grade 5 English GCSE.
