History is a fascinating subject. This course promotes the ‘how’ and ‘why’ questions as well as the more traditional ‘what' questions. By the end of the course you will have handled many historical sources and developed your historical and academic skills. You will learn about the analysis of historical evidence, make comparative judgements and test historical interpretations.
Five GCSEs at grade 9-4 including English Language and Maths. You do not need to have taken History GCSE. This course is for school leavers. If you are over 18, please contact our Admissions Team to see if it is possible to study A Levels.
The course will be assessed by three written exams and a piece of coursework.
