Course summary

The course will consist of 4 units. It involves the study of British, European and World history spanning a period of 200 years. What will I learn on this course? The course will enable you to: • develop your interest in and enthusiasm for history; • acquire and effectively communicate knowledge and understanding of periods of history; • explore the significance of events, individuals, issues and societies in history; • understand the nature of historical evidence and the methods used by historians in analysis and evaluation; • develop your understanding of how the past has been interpreted and represented.
