Course summary

Year 12 Overview of skilled techniques and analog/digital technology use. An explorative portfolio shall be completed over Year 12 and into the 1st term of Year 13. This may comprise of 1 of 2 subject matters depending on individual preference. Topics for the portfolio can be of the candidates choosing inspired by their personal interests however guidance is often given. Previous topics have included: Rhythms and Cycles, Life and Death, Landscapes, and Agriculture in Teesdale. Year 13 Completion of portfolio and written essay of 1000- 3000 words. Previous topics have included: Stops and Stations, Artificial Lighting, and Montage. The external exam paper is released in the February of Year 13 ending in a 10-hour sat exam in May.
