Beauty Therapy

Course summary

This qualification in Beauty Therapy will enable you to build up the practical and theoretical skills required for the world of work. You will cover all basic aspects of Beauty Therapy including; facial massage, skin care, cosmetic make-up, lash and brow treatments, manicure, pedicure and wax depilation. In addition you will study the associated anatomy and physiology and business practices required to develop and maintain effectiveness at work. You are also required to attend a one day a week industry placement which will further reinforce reception and retail skills.
