This qualification aims to give a coherent introduction to study of the legal sector. It has been developed in collaboration with employers and representatives from higher education and relevant professional bodies. In this way, the content is up to date and it includes the knowledge, understanding, skills and attributes required in the legal sector. The learning programme covers the following content areas:dispute solving in civil law, investigating aspects of criminal law and the legal system, applying the law, consumer law.
To enrol on this course you will need a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grades4 or above including Mathematics and English.
To achieve the qualification you will be required to complete a range of coursework assignments and external examinations. The course is equivalent to 1 GCE and carries the same UCAS points as all other GCE’s.
