This advanced training programme provides a high level of expertise and enhanced career opportunities within your chosen profession. Extensive anatomy and physiology is included in all of the treatment units of study. You will learn how to perform the following treatments: · Mechanical massage · Swedish massage · Facial electrotherapy · Body electrotherapy · Facial skin analysis · Body analysis · Client care and communication · Health and safety · Electrical science · Anatomy and physiology There is also the opportunity for further training from leading manufacturers, such as Dermalogical, Shellac and Sienna X Tanning. Work placement is a mandatory part of this course to develop your commercial and retail skills.
Five GCSEs at grade 9-4 including English and Maths, or a full Level 2 qualification in Beauty Therapy with a Merit profile and grades 9-4 in GCSE English and Maths. A dexterity assessment is also required.
