Find out how the world of business works, why it does what it does and why businesses are such an important part of the economy. This course will help you develop the skills that employers value and expect from prospective employees. You will study different areas of business from marketing to finance with the aim of understanding both the theory of business and how that theory can be applied to real world examples. This two-year course is an ideal stepping stone to an enterprising career.
You must have a minimum of five GCSE grades 9-4, including Maths and/or English, and a minimum GCSE average of 5.3. For this course, you should also have at least a grade 4 in English Language.
This A Level course is a 100% examination-based qualification and the final grade is determined as a result of taking three two-hour examinations at the end of the second year. The College will also support you to find a work placement so you get a taste of the business-related jobs that are available.
