For students who enjoy performing, Stepping outside their comfort zone, enjoys trips to theatre and reading plays, discussing and analysing actors. Theatre Trips: Students will be expected to see as much live theatre as they can. A number of theatre trips will be organised for the students and these will be an important part of the course.
A minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade 5 and above, preferably and including Drama.
Examination arrangements and weightings: A2 level: Component 1 is a devised performance (10%) with a supporting portfolio (30%). Component 2 is a scripted group performance and a scripted monologue (20%). Component 3 is a written exam (40%).
