Course summary

This subject will provide you with a critical understanding of a wide range of business topics. Topics covered over the two years include: Management and Leadership, Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations and Strategic Positioning Direction and Change. Real life case studies will be used wherever possible to make it easier for you to relate to and understand business related topics. You will develop the knowledge and skills needed to analyse data, think critically about issues and make informed decisions. Many students who study this subject are planning on taking a business-related course at university in subjects such as Business Management, Economics, Human Resources or Marketing. You could also go into employment in areas such as business administration.
