5 GCSEs graded at 4 or above (counting 2 BTECs maximum) A grade 4 in English or Maths This course builds on the knowledge and understanding of GCSE science. It is expected that students will have achieved the following: ● A 6 in GCSE Biology (for those who have taken triple science) ● Or a 7 in GCSE Combined Science ● And a 5 in Mathematics
Three written examinations: A Level Paper 1: Biological Processes (Modules 1, 2, 3 and 5) A Level Paper 2: Biological Diversity (Modules 1, 2, 4 and 6) A Level Paper 3: Unified Biology (Modules 1 to 6) Internal assessment of practical skills to achieve a Practical Endorsement.
