Students who decide to take this course will develop a deeper understanding of the environment we live in and the causes and effects of sustained global change – something that is very topical in today’s society. The course of study offers a vast range of different opportunities to learn and work both in and outside of the classroom. Students will be given the chance to access local fieldwork opportunities and further enrich their knowledge and understanding of the topic as a whole. This will give students all the skills needed to progress further with the subject should they wish to go on to study it at a higher level. The A-level geography course is open to students who have or have not studied this subject at GCSE, as long as the entry requirements are met.
