A Level Maths is a fantastic subject that combines Pure Maths, such as algebra, geometry and functions with Applied Maths modules. It shows potential employers that you have a highly logical mind that can present organized arguments to solve numerical problems — a skill that is widely sought after. WHAT WILL YOU BE LEARNING? Developing and understanding of mathematics and mathematical processes. Develop abilities to reason logically and recognize incorrect reasoning, to generalize and to construct mathematical proofs. Extend your range of mathematical skills and techniques and use them in more difficult unstructured problems. Develop an awareness of the relevance of mathematics to other fields of study. HOW WILL I BE TAUGHT? You will be encouraged to work independently as well as participate in group work and traditional teaching. WHAT SKILLS WILL I DEVELOP?
