Course summary

The courses will help you to develop your general study skills, but most of all you will learn to communicate at a higher level in French and develop opinions on a wide range of current issues in French-speaking society. In the A Level course you will study social issues and trends, political and artistic culture and grammar. You will also have the opportunity to study a book and film in French. In Year 13 you will undertake an independent research project on a topic linked to a French speaking country. All exams will take place at the end of Year 13.
