Course summary

In virtually all areas of science, industry and commerce, mathematics plays a key role. During your A Level course you will develop your understanding of algebra, statistics and mechanics. There is an emphasis on problem solving and you will learn about proof and mathematical modelling. Maths is fun, interesting, challenging and highly rewarding. It encourages you to break down big problems into smaller parts and think these through logically to find an overall solution. Studying this maths course will set you up for Higher Education and a great career.

Entry requirements

5 GCSE grades 9 to 4, including at least a Grade 7 in Maths.

Examinations at the end of each year.
