Course summary

This course is designed for those young people who wish to gain a specialised qualification in animal nursing. It is designed to develop your practical skills in animal care and management while offering additional opportunities to hone your customer service skills in a retail environment. You will develop your theoretical knowledge whilst gaining hands-on practical experience in our new industry-standard animal facility and fully equipped veterinary nursing suite.

Entry requirements

Level 2 Vocational Courses: Students are required to have a minimum of four grade 3s at GCSE. Additional Information: For Level 2 Vocational Courses, we will consider 2 BTECs, ideally one to be in a related subject. If you are concerned that you may not meet the entry requirements for this course, take a look at the range of Level 1 courses on offer within animal studies and equine studies which can lead to your progression onto this course.
