Fine Art & Textiles can help you develop skills that can support careers in design, the media, teaching, architecture, fashion, illustration and a wide range of other sectors. One of the most important skills you will develop as a Fine Art or Textiles student is developing the ability to research, explore an idea & work independently. To discuss & critic your own work & that of others. To take responsibility & develop a body of work. This is useful when studying most subjects at degree level, but could be especially important if you are considering studying a subject that relies on your ability to research & develop ideas & how to share these to a wider audience both visually & through presentations.
